RULES FOR POINTS SYSTEM
Firstly, for points to count, racer must be a financial member of Palmyra Drag racing club Inc and points only start when membership is paid.
Competitors have until Friday 16/11/07 to advise of any errors or any extra points that should be earnt for meetings up to 10/11/07 only. Then it will be final.
A season is defined as per annual race calendar.
All meetings except for All Bike and Nostalgia Drag meetings go towards overall points for track champion. Additionally, for the Sunstate Nationals, only club and track chamption points will be issued.
Points are as follows - 2 for a round win, 1 for a round loss, 0 for no show. Additionally, if in the final, extra 5 for a win and 3 for runner-up.
Points will be updated and put up on website the week after the event.
If competing in more than one bracket – points accrued in individual brackets will count towards respective bracket championships, but not to be combined for Track or Club Championship. When competing in more than one bracket at a meeting, whichever bracket that driver/rider accrues the most points will ONLY be added towards the track championship.
Only points earnt from racing at Palmyra Dragway are automatically added to the PDRC Point Score. Points are earnt for away meetings but copies of the timeslips must be sighted. These timeslips can be emailed to the webmaster@palmyradragway.com.au
